2.  Underwrite your favorite program at WURK.  Cost is between $10-20 to sponsor a one hour program and you get two announcements during the hour. For underwriting information click here.

4.  Take out an ad in our quarterly newsletter.  We mail to over 1000 members, then distribute over 3000 copies at locations around town.  A business card ad is $50; a 1/4 page is $150.

6. Submit a Show Idea, during evenings and weekends, WURK’s airwaves are managed by community volunteers who know their stuff and who are excited and committed to share great music with the station’s audience. These slots are mostly filled, and they don’t turn over very often, but when a spot does open up – we want to fill it with the best, original content we can. A public service announcement (PSA) should be just that–a service to the community. We will air announcements that benefit our listeners such as information about closures, free clinics, and educational opportunities. Generally, we air PSAs for events and activities only if they are free to the public and sponsored by a non-profit, although there are some exceptions.

 

If your event doesn’t qualify as a Public Service Announcement or you want a guarantee that your announcement will be heard with a certain frequency or at certain times of the day.
