Becoming a Volunteer

 

Community Radio as a volunteer! You can now get involved and pick up your preferred volunteer assignments and schedules online, anytime, and choose the exact times and interests that work best for you using the WURK Shift board. Please complete the following Registration form to access your account and our online schedules. Your registration will be processed and you will be contacted shortly with follow up information and any remaining steps necessary to get started. To become a music, news, show programmer are an Advisory Board Member  at WURK, you must be an active volunteer with the station. If you are not currently a volunteer with the station, please go to  Click Here for Volunteer Application

 

Music / DJ

 

f you are an active volunteer with the station and would like to apply to become a music programmer please complete the information below. You will be contacted by a member of our Programming Committee for a brief interview. You will also be asked to submit a 1/2 hour demo for the committee. If your music program is approved you will be required to complete a three hour Programmer Training and you will have an ongoing commitment to the station of 2 hours of off-air volunteer time a month.
